About Us

Hather Plant Hire was founded over 35 years ago. Starting with just one machine, we now have over 650 in the fleet.

We are a family-run plant hire firm and we pride ourselves in our ability to provide machinery/equipment to cover a wide range of projects. We have backhoe loaders, bulldozers, dumptrucks, excavators, rollers, telehandlers of varying types and sizes within our collection.

Based in Rotherham (South Yorkshire), our (primary) depot is built upon an 11 acre site. We have over 150 staff members employed including call handlers, fitters, operators and wagon drivers.

We offer either operated or self-drive on all hires. In the meantime our low loaders travel the length and breadth of the country to ensure your machines arrive on time.
